Coronation Event at Garon Park

Southend Street Pastors was invited to the coronation event at Garon Park in Southend on bank holiday Monday to celebrate the coronation of King Charles III. The celebrations Started on Sunday and into Monday. Southend Street Pastors had a great opportunity where we had many conversations and visitors to our stand including the Mayor and Mayoress ( Cllr Kevin and Mrs Robinson) and Sir James Duddridge ( MP for Rochford and Southend East).

We also welcomed to our stand the 843rd High Sheriff of Essex Charles Bishop. He will the first High Sheriff of Essex to take on the ancient role in the reign of the new monarch, King Charles III.

It was a very busy day for our teams as we engaged with our community we had an amazing day. We also welcomed parents and young people to our activities table with lots of colouring and many sweets.
