Knife Angel in Southend On Sea

In between the Rain and the Sunshine. Southend Street Pastors with Love Southend along side local churches were given a great opportunity to continue to engage with our wonderful community regarding the Knife Angel we had lots of conversations and were able to reflect what knife Angel meant to each person we spoke to. The teams had the opportunity to pray with lots of people in our reflection Gazebo where it was private. We also prayed quietly around the Knife Angel.

The reflection Gazebos were very busy our teams around the Knife Angel were also very busy givening out lots of leaflets about the history of the Knife Angel., we also handed out ribbons for people to write messages on and tie them onto the railings around the Angel. The young people had a great time at the gazebos as we laid on colouring activities.
On Sunday 28th July the Council along side Southend Street Pastors are held a Peace walk starting at the Royal Square behind the Royals Shopping centre We are meeting at 18:30pm at 18:45 is a Peace and Remembrance Walk To the Knife Angel Where there will be activities. We have included all of the details for the peace walk with today's Pictures. We hope you have had the opportunity to visit Southend and see the Knife Angel and will move on to Luton which is its next destination after the Peace and Remembrance Walk.
