Southend Street Pastors led the way last Friday evening, along with Love Essex and Love Southend members from all three ministries. We had 10 people join us, so we were blessed to bring some outstanding prayers to our city and our wonderful community. Pauline Levitt from Southend Street Pastors took the lead and planned the route. We're going to three separate locations. Pauline explained that Jesus said “I am the Gate”, explaining that Jesus is the only way to enter into a relationship with Jesus. We prayed for each other and went to the train station at the Love Essex event. There are four locations/forms of portals: large and imposing gates and doorways. Southend, Essex, on September 25, the event will have outreach teams at the special gates, where people will walk into the high street.

After our prayers at the station, we went to the underground area. On our way, we met two police officers with whom we engaged and chatted. The rest of the team also made their way to the underground area where the buses used to run. After some time, we continued to pray under cover; some prayed that this area was filled with evil, but we claimed that darkness would disappear, and God’s light would shine into this dark space. We thought we prayed for him to move out of Southend. We pray for this area, look at the street art, and continue to walk and pray. One team member asked us what our interpretation of the many paintings was. We left this area and came back up to the high street. As we passed one of the clubs, we stopped and had a chat with the door staff and made our way back to the Victoria Circus, where we came togather and pray with each other and was join Bt two members of the public and had a chat about what we were doing and young lads ( J ) and ( S ) we continue to pray for both young people which they were very helpful greatful. The Next prayer walk is Friday, 29th August 2025.
