Southend Street Pastors Presentation to Salvation Army

On Wednesday, 15th October, a team from Southend Street Pastor went to join The Salvation Army here in Leigh on Sea. Major Robert Davis, corps officer for Leigh on Sea, invited us. The Southend Street Pastor team were John Simmons ( Chairman ), John Levitt ( Coordinator ), and Pauline Levitt ( Team Leader, Trestee ). We started with Major Clare Davis leading with prayers, worship, and a Scripture reading. 

John Simmons led our presentation and explained the history of southend Street Pastors. I then explained the key points regarding our ministry, how we serve our community, and what a privilege it is. Pauline and I went round all the chairs and put our public and Prayer Pastors' leaflets on the seats. As I completed my talk, I handed it back to John Simmons, who finished talking about our prayer pastors and how it works with street pastors when they are on patrol.
